About David Clinger

David Clinger, land planner and registered landscape architect #647, Colorado, founded his land planning firm in 1971 and has been nationally recognized as a leader and innovator in the planning and design field since that time.  He has served the industry as a consultant and seminar speaker and has had articles published in Builder, Professional Builder, Multi-Housing News, Urban Land Institute periodicals, Sustainable Land Development Today and Better Homes & Gardens.  He is a member of the National Association of Homebuilders, Urban Land Institute and American Planning Association.

David’s superb community planning has earned him two coveted Gold Nugget awards and a Sensible Growth Award from NAHB and Better Homes & Gardens.  For a career filled with new ideas and contributions to residential development, Professional Builder and NAHB honored David with a Professional Lifetime Achievement Award for Land Planning Innovations.  He is the only land planner in the central United States to receive this award.
